Who should attend?
This public event is open to policy advisers, policy makers, professionals, academics, and students in the higher education sector who want to join the discussion of how student voices can provide valuable evidence for the development and implementation of Access and Participation Plans.
What will the event do?
This innovative event will:
- provide a platform for meaningful discussion among practitioners, academics, and students on incorporating student voices in higher education policy and practice in a changing policy landscape
- examine how student voices can add valuable evidence of policy development and implementation in Access and Participation Plans
- bring together key stakeholders to strengthen existing networks and forge new connections within the HE sector
- contribute to shaping the future of access and participation policies by identifying key areas for further development and inspiring actionable strategies
- present key insights and best practices from Oxford's What Matters to Students Public Policy Challenge Project.
The programme includes guest presentations and audience Q&A, lightning talks, and a policy stakeholder panel discussion. We have also asked each of our speakers to give you an opportunity to have your say using rapid online polls throughout the day.

The event is presented by Oxford University’s Centre on Skills, Knowledge and Organisational Performance (Department of Education) and Centre for Teaching and Learning.
Where is the event being held?
This full-day event will be held at the Jesus College Cheng Kar Shun Digital Hub, cnr Market Street and Cornmarket, Oxford OX1 3EF (entry opposite Wagamama) and online via MS Teams.
